A high-pressure triplex pump is a positive-displacement reciprocating pump with three pistons pump that operate in a sequence to provide a near-continuous flow. High-pressure triplex pump for jet grouting is a specialized piece of equipment used in geotechnical engineering to improve soil stability and create structural supports underground. This type of pump is critical in jet grouting operations, where high-velocity jets of cementitious grout are used to erode and mix with the soil, forming improved columns of soil-grout composite.

How it works in jet grouting
In jet grouting, the high-pressure grout pump delivers grout through a small-diameter nozzle at the end of a drill stem. The high-velocity jet:
1. Erodes the surrounding soil
2. Mixes the soil particles with grout
3. Forms a column of soil-grout mixture, which solidifies into a strong, low-permeability mass

Applications in Jet Grouting:
Soil Stabilization: Used to inject grout into weak or unstable soils to improve bearing capacity and reduce settlement.
Ground Improvement: Ideal for compensating ground (compensation grouting) or underpinning existing structures.
Seepage Control: Effective for sealing leaks in dams, levees, tunnels, and underground structures.
Deep Mixing: Can be used for deep soil mixing (DSM) or jet column applications.
