How to make lightweight foam concrete

Lightweight foam concrete is more and more popular all over the world. Using the lightweight foam concrete, we can make many projects, such as: making lightweight foam concrete blocks, making foam concrete wall panels, filling the voids, filling the basement, floor heating, roof insulation, etc.

How to make the lightweight foam concrete? We need to follow the following steps:

1. Prepare the foam concrete equipment: A set of lightweight foam concrete mold, a lightweight foam concrete mixer, a foaming machine and an electronic weighing.

2. Prepare raw materials: water, cement, foaming agent and soap water.

3. Work flow: (400kg/m3 as an example)

Assemble the lightweight foam concrete mold and brush the mold carefully with soap water.

With foaming agent dilution solution, installation and debugging foaming machine, use the foaming machine to produce foams. If no foaming machine, we need to prepare the manual foaming device in advance.

Weigh 1.75kg of water by electronic weighing.

Weigh 3.15kg of cement into the water, stir by the electric lightweight foam concrete mixer, and stir until it is viscous.

Inject the foam into the cement slurry and mix well.

Pouring, pouring the evenly lightweight foam concrete slurry into the lightweight foam concrete mold, the surface is smoothed.

Curing, curing the lightweight foam concrete at 15℃ ~ 25℃ for 48 hours.

Demoulding, watering the lightweight foam concrete for two weeks.
