Working principle of drilling mud jet grout pump:
1. Drilling Mud Mode:
– Circulates drilling mud through the drill string to cool the bit, remove cuttings, and maintain borehole pressure.
– Operates at lower pressure (500–3,000 psi) but high flow rates (e.g., 200–1,000 GPM).
2. Jet Grouting Mode:
– Switches to high-pressure injection (5,000–10,000+ psi) to fracture soil and inject grout.
– Uses a rotating nozzle to create soil-cement columns (solicrete) for stabilization.
